Principal Product Designer, AI agents for enterprise software

Principal product designer with 15 years in enterprise platforms and 2 years designing AI agents that act on behalf of users. At JLL Technologies I have shipped three agents on Corrigo that price, schedule, and validate work orders. I also build: I shipped Scindo, an agentic workspace, end to end, and maintain an open-source React design system. My work is deciding how much authority an agent gets, how much of its reasoning it shows, and where a person takes the decision back.

Experience

Principal Product Designer · JLL Technologies (Jones Lang LaSalle) · 10/2021 – Present · Remote

Design lead for Corrigo, a cloud-based facilities management platform that brings facility managers, service providers, and customers together around maintenance.

  • Redesigned Pricing Agent (SmartNTE), which sets work order price ceilings autonomously and lowers invoice payments. Made every agent decision visible, overridable, and tunable instead of on/off, since people keep an agent on when they can see what it did and how to overrule it. The first piece, each price and its source in the work order list, has shipped.
  • Shipped Schedule Agent for the Dispatch Board, which drafts optimized technician schedules from thousands of constraint combinations. Dispatchers set the constraints, compare drafts side by side, and commit. Defined a shadow-baseline method so customers can prove the agent's value after the manual schedule no longer exists.
  • Shipped the redesign of Invoice Agent, which recommends approve, approve with notes, or review required on invoices. Research with facility managers showed they wanted a second set of eyes, not a replacement, which reframed the agent and set a four-step path from recommendation to autonomous approval.
  • Led early design and usability research for Workplace OS, an agent that orchestrates across JLL's facility products. Testing with facility managers redirected the concept from a view-only dashboard to in-app action.
  • Built a Discovery Kit that packages PRDs, NPS, and usability findings into prompts, so non-designers on Corrigo teams can generate testable design prototypes with AI.
  • Rolled out the JLL Design System across Corrigo's legacy products and served as design system point person for the Revenue pillar. Dark theme and WCAG accessibility became defaults.
  • Designed the UX and UI for Carbon Pathfinder, a decarbonization planning tool named to Fast Company's Next Big Things in Tech (2023).
  • Directed the JLLT.com redesign on the new design system, from content hierarchy to modular page components.

  • Shipped Scindo, a workspace where people and AI agents work in the same threads and agents open PRs, draft plans, and convert discussions into documents. Three surfaces: web, VS Code extension, CLI. scindo.one
  • Shipped Commentify, Aaside, and Letsseat, and created the oneSlash design system, an open-source React component library and documentation site that Scindo, Commentify, and this site run on.
